I stumbled upon this new logo for BBC Lifestyle. It doesn't seem to have been implemented yet, and I have no more info about it.

Denmark are switching off their analogue transmitters on Sunday. In anticipation of that the channels of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, DR, have got new logos. The new logos for DR1 and DR2 are already in use, while DR HD, DR K and DR Ramasjang are launching the day of the switchover.

Discovery lifestyle logos

The current logos of Discovery Real Time, Home & Health and Travel & Living are a bit dated, still using the old "blocky" Discovery logo. I've created two suggestions on how you could update them.

The first suggestion takes the current box logos and updates them with the new logo, and brings Travel & Living in line with the others.

Note that the "r" in drama is different to the "r" in reality.

Comedy Classics

There was some disappointment when Paramount Comedy 2 changed intro Comedy Central Extra and dropped their schedule of classic British comedy and started showing the same programmes as Comedy Central. I created a logo that could have been used if the channel had retained a separate idenity and rebranded as "Comedy Classics":

Its basically the same logo as Comedy Central, but the skyscrapers have been replaced smaller houses.

I actually think I like the SVT2 presentation more than the SVT1 presentation. SVT2 is very elegant with beautiful music. I was a bit sceptical at first, but I think I'll grow to like them. They are certainly an improvement on the idents that preceeded them.

The news anchor introduces a story about the breakdown on SVT earlier in the evening, but the story fails to play and all that is shown is the breakdown sign, which gives a comical effect.

Just to clarify, "Tillfälligt avbrott" means "Temporary Interruption". Here's a cap of the breakdown sign in higher resolution:
