Yeah, definitely. I noticed that too (I think they're using something that sounds very similar to the pips that feature on the BBC tracks). Still, I think its great and I love the look of the new channel. As others have said, this is a welcome alternative to the traditional news channels. I just hope they last the course.

State Opening of Parliament 2006

Not sure if anybody is watching BBC1's coverage this morning, but it looks terrible. I think its being presented from a committee room in Westminter, so looks very old fashoined and wooden, with a wonky monitor in the background saying "State opening of Parliament 2006. To me, it lacks any sense of occassion. Could the BBC not have used one of its nearby stuido's rather, or at least have featured an image of Parliament (or even Buckingham Palace) as a backdrop?

Totally agree with you (and with what [MMTV - A troll who is banned from TVForum] said). If people don't want to supply files to people who have requested them, I don't know why they waste their time replying in the first place.
