Wimbledon moving the news to BBC Two

Does BBC2 get interupted by announcements the tennis is over on BBC1 during the news?

We all know it's a ridiculous situation, but understand why it happens. However considering it's an inevitability why don't the BBC publish an alternative schedule in the TV guides in the event the tennis runs on BBC1.

BBC Two doesn't get interupted, though their sports bulletins may change frequently enough

Was any regional bbc2 idents used?

(couldn't see myself, before sain on bbc1, was too late for intro)

The programme is Look, Look and Look Again. I didn't know what the programme was til I looked at the titles (also on TV-Ark) a few days ago and recongised it from the Daytime on TWO clip.

BBC Schools Programmes

Thought I would start this up again, as the old thread was long ago archived and buried.

Opening with a question: on the revamped TVARK BBC Schools pages we have this video of a Look and Read follows shortly caption, from the Daytime on Two strand from 1987. (I can't put a link in because TVARK doesn't allow links to media pages) However at the beginning of the clip are the end titles for another programme with a date of 1984. Any ideas what this programme is?

New Meridian, BBC South & South East Thread

BBC South has it's 50th Anniversary special South Today programme Tomorrow (6/1/2011)
It has indeed been 50 years since BBC South went on air based in Southampton, 1961.

BBC Christmas Idents

Hey all,

Any Idea for BBC Three, Four, CBBC and CBeebies this year???

Also, I am currently making a video looking at all of the christmas Idents from all of the bbc channels. I have not looked into the news channel and bbc parliament as I am pretty dure they don't do festive idents, but do let me know if you could, what christmas idents/packages were used (or even reused) on BBC3, BBC4, CBBC, Cbeebies, BBC Choice and BBC Knowledge. If there are any links to these videos that would also help!

BBC Christmas Idents

I think this years christmas idents on BBC One are at least festive and focus on the central theme. I liked 08 and 09 and this is definitely good. However, 2 weeks before christmas is FAR TO EARLY. What happened to the time when idents ran from christmas eve until boxing day?

Also, is BBC Two's ident the same as before? If it is, then by far it is TOO LONG TO RUN THAT IDENT. Put some effort in and think. And could someone fire scrooge from the BBC Two pres department.
