Together at least. I wouldn't be surprised if individually one turned up there in some form at some point.

Sky Sports wouldn't employ either of them, once you're out, you're out.

Sky won't employ Gray and Keys again.

And who's idea was it to bring in Alexander Armstrong as a relief presenter? How does that go down in Hull or Aberdeen?

I don't even understand what point you're trying to make here.

BBC Secretly saving some money, instead of replacing Legard with an outsider or replacing Coulthard's punditry role for an outsider there saving cash on a member of the team with Coulthard doing his 'dual-role'

If they wanted to save money they'd have got rid of Brundle who is on a wage that dwarfs most other people at BBC Sport.

Anyway, Legard is staff so they're still paying him, regardless of whether he's F1 commentator or not.

Northern England and Southern Scotland Thread

Jonny posted:
According to Twitter users, a group of kids invaded her broadcast from Sid James' Park and during a link to a report about 'specially talented kids' she mused 'unlike these who have special needs'.

It was hardly an invasion, they were a couple of kids jumping around behind her (like there is every time they do an OB from St James Park) before she came out with her 'special needs' comment. Very unprofessional.

I note the BBC didn't put that edition onto iPlayer.

Sky News: Presenters & Rotas

For me its about time Sky news had a presenter reshuffle although a lot of them excel in there current roles there is need for change

If you think that these presenters 'excel' in their current roles then why do you want them all to move?

Because its life it happens in all walks of life to keep things fresh there is need to this every few years and there is some presenters who need to be given a break that's were the main newscasters start by being given a break and at the moment theres no oppitunitys for that to happen.

What are you talking about giving new newscasters a break? All you suggested was pointlessly switching everybody around and brining in Natasha Kaplinsky, hardly someone who needs to opportunity to break into TV news.

You don't build audiences by switching all your presenters round for no reason.

At least Daybreak's title sequence isn't filled with nausea inducing camera angles.

BBC News Channel: Presentation

For fans of 'The Minch', if there are any, this was a bizarre moment this morning when she made a bit of a big deal of dropping her pen.

Fantastic clip. My favourite bit is where one second she has the pen and the next second it's on the floor, a real classic moment.

Can anyone confirm if there were any other pen related incidents during the rest of the day?

Frankly this is disturbing, perhaps you should suggest Five arrange to have her tubes tied as part of contract renewal?

I think a full hysterectomy is the only option here, particularly if people are going to just start "meating" her at random intervals.

Sky News: Presenters & Rotas

House posted:
Remember before Sky she was only a regional news presenter for ITV. If she'd "get" anything at the beeb I'd imagine it would be on the news channel.

Well that wouldn't suit her "dryy (sic) fish" personality, I hear the experts say she's no good at ad libbing either.

GMTV (1993 - 2010)

What I mean by it is that the thought of something is horrible or grotesque.

Yes, whenever I think of a sports reporter filling in for such journalistic luminaries as Andrew Castle and Ben Shepard, I find that grotesque is an applicable word to describe the situation.
