BBC Breakfast

It certainly ties in with the rest of the news family; titles are nice as well. Like the "sunrise" hue in the background.

Well, here we go - have been on the night shift and in my final hour, so at least I'll see the changes b4 going to bed!

Christmas Tree Watch 2008

Charlie & Suzannah have just mentioned that they have been getting e-mails about the absence of a tree on the Breakfast set, following an article about "The Humbug Club" - they seemed not to know when it'd be arriving, and appeared a bit peeved about it.

Remembrance Sunday

Bring back Tom Flemming! I know he's getting on a bit, but he has the gravitas and knows when to keep quiet and let the pictures speak, IMO.

Harry Hill's TV Burp

There's supposed to be a repeat on ITV1 now (avoids posts prior to this) but Central are showing a regional programme that was supposed to be on at 23:40... is this the same everywhere else?

Same in Yorkshire - VM EPG had Harry Hill @ 23:10 & local prog (on the Sir Nigel Gresley) @ 23:40, but it was the other way round.

Wonder how long it takes to take those vinyls down and put them back up for when the studio is used for Politics and Superleague?

Must be a nightmare getting them in the right order.

And how long will it be before they become worn & tatty?

I must admit, however, that the overall effect isn't bad considering, as Paul mentioned last night, it was "on the cheap"! I still don't like the seat/sofa configuration, whatever colour they're covered in.

Can anyone tell me if the space dedicated to the current set is the same as when LN moved into the new studio building?

As they insist on showing pictures of the original set on their website (despite several changes since) it looks as though the area was larger than present, or is it because the chairs are more spread out and only one large screen?

BBC News Rebrand - This Monday

Does anyone think that Sky News will try & capitalise on the BBC dropping "News 24" and re-name their output under "Sky News 24"?

After all, they were quick to pick up the "News at Ten" title when ITV News dispensed with it

Harry Hill's TV Burp

I was in hysterics when he was extracting the urine out of "Ladette to Lady" - with the head honch took "her other 2 hairstyles for a walk" and we shot to the lady walking her 2 dogs.

How many researchers do they have trawling through the programmes? I now sit watching programmes thinking "will this end up on "Burp".
