22 years of the 1997 BBC logo
Also, with the 1997 BBC rebrand, more UKTV channels were launched and the existing ones had their branding changed. The presentation was similar to the 1997 BBC channels' presentation, which I guess was to show they are part of the BBC.

22 years of the 1997 BBC logo
I know a 22nd anniversary isn't much, but it is officially 22 years since the 1997 BBC logo that we all know and love was introduced for the very first time on TV - on 4th October 1997!Last edited by Po6xyPop77 on 4 October 2019 4:35pm

Has BBC Three gotten a new logo? I saw this on a billboard for the British RuPaul in the taxi on my way home from school.

In the early days of digital, they had them, but due to excessive complaints, they were removed. BBC Two continued to show a DOG during the Learning Zone until that was axed, most likely for students to know that the Learning Zone is on BBC Two if they want to record it themselves. BBC One HD used to use a DOG in about 2010, but that was also removed due to excessive complaints. The BBC feels that the channels are so well established that they don’t need DOGs. They do have dogs though!
BBC Oneness - idents and presentation
Just out of interest, why doesn’t BBC One and Two have DOGs?
