I did a Btec ND Media for 2 years and it was great.
I chose to go to one that meant a 4 hour round trip by bus every day, because the facilities at my nearest college had no comparison.
You should go and check out the facilities at your chosen college. Mine had fully working TV and radio studios and I spent a lot of time doing stuff with sound and pictures.
If you pick the wrong college, you'll end up doing mostly theory, which is very dull
I had to do some obviously, but not as much if as if I'd gone to that other college.
Probably, and I was loathe to go off topic, but the gen chat forum didn't exist when I signed up and I didn't want to go round giving my opinions straight away.
tele, I got to Sky News 'cos I emailed from thier website. It said something about jobs at Sky News. I emailed and said 'look, I'm probably underqualified, but I've done this and that'. I got an email back that said 'yeah, you're underqualified, but you can come and have a look around if you like'.
That was in my first week online, as you can imagine, I nearly fell off my chair with excitement!!!!!
It was great, but I didn't get to see Lisa Burke, which was a major disappointment. Total Babe!!!
OK, I was gonna ask this yesterday, but I thought it was just me.....
What is that bleeping noise every so often??????
It's just a short bleep, but I've heard it 3 times now just while typing this.
And are those the new on-screen graphics and theme tune???? the tune is poor as I already said (IMHO) and the graphics look like they've been knocked up on a Spectrum, I'm sorry, but they do, again JMHO!!!!
If this is it, I'm gonna move to N24 after 4 years of watching Sky.
