Morning Live

Jonwo posted:
BBC One and ITV daytime schedules compliment each other really well with their schedules and I don't see that changing.

I agree with you here, it is just there seems to be more repeats on BBC One daytime compared to ITV daytime - ITV have promoted how much of their daytime schedules is live, running from 6.00am to 2.00pm, that is a large chunk of the day, compared to a lot of repeats on BBC One, for example on Monday 28th September 2020, BBC One will have repeats from 10.00am - 12.15pm and 1.45pm to 3.00pm, whereas the only repeat on ITV that day is Tenable at 3.00pm.

Using BBC Studios so there's nowhere for the Beeb to make live TV shows Very Happy If only they had a centre of television Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Yus, My Dear (1976) London Weekend Sitcom

I seem to remember a truly dreadful Grease film inspired record duo on Top of the Pops, I think it was with Hilda Baker.

Edit; Not in my worst nightmare did I expect anything to be available on YouTube. Have a look if you dare

I don't tend to believe anything the Murdoch rags print. They have their own agenda for Rupert & Lachlan's new 'news channel' which will no doubt be ruddy awful right wing tripe.

Bauer rebranding 53 stations to The Hits/Greatest Hits

The Entrance moved when they expanded in the late eighties to mid nineties, it was on Jameson street in Hull here. I can remember going in here once I was shoved out of the way by Rodney Bewes in dark sunglasses and a huge fur coat Very Happy Somewhere I have a picture of the old place, but it will be in the loft Confused

I always wondered who Casey was and what relevance she or he had to Hull Wink

We Love Are You Being Served

The cast & set of the remake was very good however the writing was quite poor. The premise of the programme remains do-able however you need a decent studio set up with experienced studio production staff. The only show in which that has been obvious would be Mrs Brown's Boys.

We Love Are You Being Served

my favourite line from the series is, as is obvious, my signature Very Happy However the series was always full of double meaning, and my second favourite Slocombe-ism would be when Cpt Peacock was beckoning Mrs S. to the centre of the shop floor and she was clearly very very annoyed...

'Captain Peacock, I think you should know that I do not respond to any man's finger...'

They just don't write them like that anymore Very Happy

There is so much potential here to mention Mrs Slocombe's cat but I suspect it would be removed. Wink
