Bradley Walsh just executed one of the best wind-ups in this history of This Morning. Bravo!
I hope someone can post it. Fake caller. Brilliant.

Roger got in touch to say he was struggling to home school his son... but it's Audry we really feel sorry for! 🙈 pic.twitter.com/Ry2DQNfGOd

That's how Mr Levy should sign off, could be a winner.
One of my ex bosses when I was a lad used to be the Engineer In Charge there in the 60s, when it was a manned site. They made the most of being incarcerated there he would say.
Those were the days
That has brought back a lot of good memories

Great to see the Belmont weather forecast again.
I grew up within a mile of Belmont so always assumed Michael Hunt was there!
"To Belmont, good night". His familiar pay off

The key word is 'service', and East Yorkshire doesn't get it being hived off from the rest of the local area including part of its own county to the west of the wolds which gets Look Leeds. Its all a big c*ck up and should never have been created.

Saying things like that will give Uncle Peeta a fit and make him sulk for days

Why can’t they just merge at lunchtime like BBC London & south east coming from Hull?.

Which is why the waste of money of 'Ull should never have been spent. It was unnecessary and not needed. The news of 'East' of the region could easily have been fufilled by either pre-recording a show akin to ITV Calendar for the East of the region or simply and perhaps far more beneficial a 5 minute opt out.
But it rates ridiculously well. Surely it’s an argument for smaller regions elsewhere rather than abolishing it?
The rating is split between Leeds & Hull its doesn't rate separately.

But it does provide local news doesn’t it? Isn’t the issue that there just isn’t enough to fill half an hour every night?
I mean North West Tonight has the same amount of time to cover the news from a region that has, off the top of my head, 5 cities and many large towns in it.

Very true. Sadly there are still plenty of miserable 50+ Daily Mail types who still go round thinking that mobile phones (even just basic ones rather than the latest iPhone), microwave ovens, DVD players etc are luxuries that people on benefits should not have.
Bit of a generalising of a Daily mail reader there, age doesn't come into it does it?

It's definitely not a luxury nowadays. If you're unemployed, they expect you to use the Internet to look for work and to record your jobsearch.

Which is fine but they need local news and that is what the programme is supposed to provide and fails to do. Are the people in East Yorkshire supposed to put up with third rate drivel or get a service from the BBC.

Is it a problem if people watch it? Just accept it isn’t for you and go out for a walk instead.

It really wasn't. Or maybe it was, but not for the reasons you mean... The toxicity of his videos is staggering.
Its amazing what bad management can do to a radio host, and others. Whipping up such bile & aggression rubs off on a station, a team and institution.

Alex's BBC Radio Leeds show was one of a kind.

I am aware that a certain BBC Manager in this area caused a lot of fuss about comments on here a few years ago, accusing people at a radio station of briefing on here against said manager. Best be careful if anyone dares to ruffle feathers on here

Alex's BBC Radio Leeds show was one of a kind. Don't forget Radio Leeds dispensed with Martin Kelner, another fantastic radio broadcaster TWICE. He's exposed a serious problem at that station and we need to accept that. And yes it comes under the region which controls the TV as well.
