New BBC Sunday Morning News Show: Sunday AM

I did have to laugh at the way Andrew Marr bounded out of the door and down the steps and when he asked Moira what the main story was. It didn't seem to work because there was a pause before Moira responded and she didn't really say it in a conversational tone which Andrew had introduced it with.

Yeah, it was a shame, I think Moira can't have been expecting it because she ad-libs with the Breakfast presenters all the time, only last Tuesday she was joking with Dermot ans Sian after the story about not smiling on passports.

Wheres the remote...

2 months ?

Bit cautious...

OK! and the others found out amazingly fast what was happening. Bit like the wedding *cough* "leak" *cough*

Well, on her last Breakfast before her wedding she said 'I thought brides were supposed to loose weight but my dress has had to be let out.' Letting the cat out of the bag or a false start? I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

Did anybody see last 'before they were famous' two weeks ago. Kaplinsky was on there, with tamagotchis!

Yeah I saw that; did you notice her perm? Did you see it shouldn't happen to a TV reporter a few weeks ago? She was on there as well during her time with Meridian (same hair!).

I think I heard on Radio Leicester this morning that Sara would be in Leicester this afternoon for the Leicester Expo thing and be giving people the chance to learn about TV News presenting - hence Emma did the news and Lukwesa the weather.

Oh right, thanks for that; I was confused though when Emma had said 'Lukwesa will be back with the Lunchtime news etc. They probably had changed the rota quite late and she'd forgoten. BTW Emma's back on Breakfast bulletins tomorrow. I think she ought to present with Quentin while Dom is off: the Richard + Judy of the East Midlands!

Surprised to see Lukwesa doing the weather at Lunchtime. At 9.00 Emma Hill said 'Lukwesa will be back with the Lunchtime news' and she was talking about being 'on the telly' on Radio Nottingham this morning. She has continued to do the weather on the radio but has been presenting the news for the last few weeks. Perhaps Sara is ill because Anne presented the 3.20 summary herself (Usually Sara, occasionally Lukwesa with Anne, Dom, Quentin etc. filling in).

Sara was back this evening.

Jane's on again at 16.00 today. I can understand why on Tuesday because she was presenting the One but I wonder why she's not presenting her own shift.

Also interesting that Simon McCoy presented Breakfast Mon-Fri this week but Bill was on today. Normally they would have used Bill as replacement for Dermot, wouldn't they?
Maybe Bill was just on holidays.

Bill is on with Natasha on Mon - Thu with Simon and Sian on Friday.

Is Sophie on holiday?, Sian and Jane were on last week, so far Sian has been on this week and next week Jane Hill is on the 6???

Sophie is on maternity leave isn't she?

Well she's down for next Tuesday-Friday according to the RT with Jane on Monday. I think she's just been on holiday because the baby isn't due until around Christmas time. I think Sian must be on holiday next week, she said on Breakfast a few weeks ago that she was going on holiday in August.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think that Dermot and Sian seem to get on much better than he does with Natasha. They always seem to be smiling at each other; and what's more they seem real, not forced.
