Yeah, there is a piece in the Media Guardian as well on the departure of KH and the arrival of John Yorke.

I am sure without a doubt, he will be the one to finally turn Eastenders around and get it back to where it should be - At the top!

ITN wins more awards

Some people may be saying their time is limited, but they keep picking up the awards.

ITV News won the News Programme of the Year award at the Broadcast awards held last night in London. The programme won the award for its coverage of the Beslan school siege.

The judges said: "Manyon was just ourtstanding. The detail of his reports and the way he managed to get into the school were amazing."

They went on to say: "It was incredibly brave and professional individual reporting. He stood out in his attempt to do something different. It felt like an observational film."

Mark Wood commented: "The annual Broadcast television awards have only one category for news and it is quite a coup to win it. The judges made clear they thought ITV News coverage of the Beslan school siege - above all the live coverage of its deadly finale by Julian Manyon and cameraman Sasha Lomakin, wwas just outstanding.

It is worth noting, though, that ITN won three out of a total of four nominations for the award. The other two nominations were for Channel 4 News' coverage of Beslan and the Madrid train bombing. The other nomination was for BBC's Madrid coverage."

BBC WORLD are also running past the half hour. Red BREAKING box at the bottom of the tower is up , it has turned to orange now at15.35GMT, then back to red at 15.50. Mixing the story with other news of the day. They also put up some text explaining that scheduled programs would be distrupted.

Does anyone know why the colour changes at the bottom of the tower.

24 Season 4 - Jack is Back!

Hi everyone, just want to say all you 24 fans are in for a right treat when the new season commences at the end of the month. Season 4 begun last week in the states and also available for download via torrent.

They have done it yet again with this season. Excellent start and great story. I'm yet again hooked!!!!!

If anyone wants the details to the most reliable torrent site, PM me. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here. If someone can okay it then I'll post. They are definately worth downloading. DIVX files and DVD quality.

We're already up to episode 5. I believe Sky are screening 2 in one week, so the UK will be at least 6 episodes behind the states. CAN YOU WAIT THAT LONG???????????????

Eastenders and the WEIRD rain!

In tonight's episode which you can all see on Sunday, there was a scene involving Andy, and those two new blokes, relatives of Alfie. When the younger one came out of the chippy it was pouring down with rain, from another shot it wasn't, and this went on for about 1 minute. Quite incredible really that whoever is responsible for continuity could miss something so damn obvious. Did anyone else see it?
