New CNBC Europe look

O.K I know that are some members ( like myself) on this forum who watch CNBC Europe. They're using the same theme tune to their U.S and Asian counterparts. I'm surprise they're not using the same graphics as the other. Plus they've replace Frankfurt Closing Bell, with Europe Tonight. Infact my intutition came up with the name Europe Tonight, but I chose to ignore it. Man they've must of read my mind. Shocked

I don't think I ever recall CNBC Europe having that slogan or any other slogan. I know CNBC Asia has that slogan and the U.S has 'Make it your business'.

Hmm, wonder what that has to do with finanical news!

Maybe it's CNBC''s answer to Bloomberg's weekend programming that we get in the U.K.

Such as: Bloomberg Style, Food for thought etc.

It all revoles around money, (spent and invest).

Which goes out here in Europe on CNBC Europe!

Presumably she will continue to anchor Closing Bell on CNBC US?
There's no way she would give up Closing Bell and her other regular weekday duties.

Maybe because 'Special Report' (of course use to be known as After Hours) is loosing viewers or Maria want a new challenge, which is why Special Report is going to make way for Capital Reports a five day a week programme.

I'm not happy either! What's worse is that it's on both BBC One and Two at the moment! I hope they don't take it off for the Olympics too!

And I thought us footy fans being told that it's only a game, was bad enough. Now it seems that us sport fans has to tell the neighbours viewers this...... 'It's only a soap, it's not live or death!' Rolling Eyes

Oh look, I could see another case of football hooliganism. Only it was started by a non-football fan, because someone was talking football. Anger management definately needed here! Rolling Eyes
