Sky Television Closedowns and Test Cards

TVARK tells us that BSB used to have testcards when they closed down, and when it merged with Sky, these were retained (all except the Now one).

I think there should be a link to Setanta Sports on the Other Channels page, the only way to find it at the moment is through the Sport page, even though Eurosport is linked on the Sky page, the Sports page and the Other Channels page.

Quite a few updates over the past few days, featuring footage from YTV, Central, TTTV, ITN News at Ten, BBC Sport, Channel Four, TV-am, Oracle, CBBC, Anglia and Channel Television.

1969 changeover from black & white to colour

Yes, both the 1968 and 1969 Cup Finals were simulcast,

Probably the only times in British TV when The FA Cup Final was on BBC1, BBC2 and ITV at the same time.

Tough luck to those who hate football...
