Tim Muffett making another appearance on the Breakfast sofa with Naga this morning!

Yes he was better today than his first outing a little while ago. A bit more comfortable and relaxed, but he is still quite serious.

Maryam Moshiri is off for a while now. Today's her last day.

With Ben Thompson in New York until the end of the year, wonder who'll take over from Maryam?

Dominic Laurie was presenting the business bulletins on Breakfast today so I think he could go back to doing regular bulletins for a while.

BBC Newsnight

Really enjoyed that ending to Newsnight. Didn't really need the bit with Kirsty from Broadcasting House but it did give us a nice insig for what's in store. Looking forward to Newsnight in the future.

Jenny's a natural on the sofa!

Yes I have to agree. I really enjoyed waking up to her today. Her bright, smiley appearance is exactly what is needed for Breakfast. Love to see her again.

BBC News Channel: Presentation

Seems the screens in N6 are playing up this morning. It's all white behind Martine currently although they keep flickering.

I didn't have a problem with him presenting the headlines and I thought his interviewing skills were very good.

But he needs to chill out and smile a little bit more, this programme is meant to set me up for the day. I don't want miserable Tim imprinted on my mind. He would need to be more chatty and conversational.
He also looks awkward and uncomfortable when sitting on the sofa.

Tim was a change but not a nice change and I wouldn't want to see him next weekend.
Graham Satchell next?

Tim Muffett? Who he?

He's a reporter for BBC Breakfast. He did a bit of overnight presenting a few years back.

I think he better stick to his reporting at the moment. He not very good, but it was nice to see what he would be like on the sofa.

Kasia Madera on the News Channel.

A rare surprise but a delight to see her. I wish she appeared more in the day time. She's a real breath of fresh air. Very Happy

Maxine Mawhinney presenting during the week. We haven't seen this for a very long time. She hasn't presented on a weekday all year.

She has, she did a Friday with Tim Willcox not long before Carrie came back, iirc.

So she did, back on the 11th of May. Well it is still rare for her to present on a weekday.

Chris Rogers and Carole Walker should never present together again.

When Chris was joking with Maryam about going to Disney World together Carole just looked serious and vacant.
Afterwards when there was a technical issue, Chris and Maryam joked with each other again, Chris saying he knocked a wire out by accident. Carole on the left looking rather out of place.

I think that Carole is better when she's presenting on her own when she can be her serious self. She just doesn't have much personality.

Does anyone know who this guy is? He's presenting the evening business news right now.
