BBC News: Presenters & Rotas

Yes he is looking considerably browner. Although the man annoys at times with his constant appearances, I'm glad he's back from his break. Very Happy

Dan Pallett presenting the sport on BBC News this afternoon.

And has anyone else noticed how little Tim Willcox is on at the moment? He hasn't been on the NC since 7th January, and I don't think he's appeared on World much either recently. Maybe he's involved in NBH rehearsals, or is having some time off.

I don't think "Tim Willcox" and "time off" have ever gone together before. Laughing

BBC News: Presenters & Rotas

Chris Rodgers and Ellie Crisell on the Nc just now She's not improved much! Sad

It's A bit like the sue Thearle and Andan Nwaz both from sport

And correct me if I'm wrong Crisell and Rodgers are both from newsround?

I think Ellie has improved a little bit, but it's not as if we have to watch her that often.

They were both Newsround presenters and Chris was the youngest ever.

BBC News: Presenters & Rotas

Moving away from why Kate didn't present the weekend news bulletins last night, I thought I might mention Sian Lloyd's great appearance of Breakfast this morning.

For her first time on the show I thought she was very good. She brought a nice, warm feel to the show and I find that she is a bit similar to Sian Williams.
Might also note that Roger seems to be improving on Breakfast too. It will be good to wake up to him on Breakfast on Boxing Day. Smile

I'll be looking forward to seeing Sian Lloyd on the sofa. Whenever I've seen her she seemed to have a nice warm feel to her which is sought after in breakfast presenting. And she Welsh. Very Happy

Interesting as well to see Mishal Husain doing this bulletin even though Huw still did the Five earlier!

I've never known a time when that's happened.

Sophie Long doing a double shift tonight. She was on the evening shift and now doing the late.

I was thinking the same.

Maybe something has happened to Chris Eakin.

Huw seemed to want to take over the look at the papers!

EDIT: My 2000th post. Smile

Chris is out reporting on the floods.
