The vote tally seems to be badly lagged behind the actual vidiprinter, and it's not really obvious what the network names are for in the list, I assume it means the report is from them, but does that mean it's confirmed or not?
Now we're seeing duplicates as well in the list.

I reckon that will be the last TOTH sequence for quite a few hours.

Graphics on the big screen are so much better now they've started using colours other than plain white as background.

I found that opening was completely different compared to the 2012 neon tube style.
I'm not talking about the graphics, I'm talking about the format of it and how it was structured.
The use of music, JT introduction before the graphics sequence, and the run through the anchors with the decision time music still running is basically the same format that was used many times up to and including the UK general election.

I note that the background on the big screen and the background on a lot of the graphics are using a blue tinted background rather than plain white.
Last few weeks it seems that they've started to come around to the fact there was too much white

The kaleidoscope wasn't Sky News of old but the general format of the opening, was identical to that used for 2012 UK election.I note that the background on the big screen and the background on a lot of the graphics are using a blue tinted background rather than plain white.

It's nothing new, it's just a return to the style used in the past. around the 2012 UK election.

BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT! The most splendid and dignified election intro I´ve ever seen on Sky News !

Very similar 10PM opening to that of the UK General Election in 2012, which is good because it was much better than the last elections and referendum things they have done.
No TOTH, straight to JT with an introduction with Decision Time music overlayed, followed by a full opening graphics sequence, before going back to JT with Decision Time music continuing introducing JT, Kay, and Adam before another graphic then back to JT.
Box not being used, everything from old studio and US.

Nice opening. Glad that they've gone back to traditional Sky News style openings.Very similar 10PM opening to that of the UK General Election in 2012, which is good because it was much better than the last elections and referendum things they have done.

This morning it was Sarah in the US, Jonathan in the box, and Ed Conway and analysis in the old studio, makes you think if they build the second new studio that will have a bigger screen than the box.
It's clear the new screen in the box is not capable of replacing the big screen fully in the old one.

They're using the one in the old studio for the US election, presumably because it's more of a sufficient size and able to be controlled by Ipad, which I haven't seen happen on the new one. This morning it was Sarah in the US, Jonathan in the box, and Ed Conway and analysis in the old studio, makes you think if they build the second new studio that will have a bigger screen than the box.

I know the presentation styles of BBC and Sky News may have become more similar than ever lately, but it's still no excuse to mistake one channel for another, what Ryley says applies to Sky News.
Sky do appear to be very much focused on the competition these days rather than their own channel, unlike before where they were more focused on being the best than worrying about competition.
