News at Ten - Weeknights on ITV1

I never did watch the old or ITV News at Ten era but I am extemely looking forward to this ever since it was confirmed on that awards show on October 27th.

I think that large glass panel has ruined it already though. Also why does the clockface behind the desk fade out in the middle and fade back in at the bottom? The titles should 'land' on one of the 'permanant' glass screens instead.

Anyway looking forward to seeing Sir Trevor Mcdonald again. I hope the music is sorted out as the one in the promos seem to fast and to 'fake'. It will certainly light up my day (night) after my milk is now delivered in a horrible diesel milk float.

Itv1 Idea

I would also like this and possibly the full regular EastEnders theme. Does anyone know why it wasn't played when Kevin was taken to the funeral?

I always thought the studio was incredibly cheap looking (it was only a million pounds). But this new virtual floor and wall looks fantastic, now they can change virtually the whole set in one go. Evolution is a great thing. Will this new MK2 Theatre of News be used for all the ITV bulletins?

BBC One

Just to say, I saw Hippos yesterday, it was quite a weird fealing as I am now used to seeing the new ones. I haven't seen Kites or Football recently.

This new Helicopter ident is brilliant but it is not the visuals, it is the music that makes it. Would we all like it if it was all punk rock style?

It was perfect for Kevins death on New Years Day. I am glad they are (hopefully) returning to more 'normal' idents. They must have realised that Fairies and definately Neon are way over the top.

BBC Two Drum Ident

Do-do, do, do! That was my favourite of the yellow 2s era idents. I admit that were trashy and ugly but I definately loved this one, purely for the music and bouncing 2! I would like a copy of this to if possible.
