New weather presenter is called Lucy, don't know her last name.

New female anchor is Ana Boulter, she has substituted on Sky News on and off for the last couple of months and has appeared on Sky News before on a programme called 3D.

Sky News - Page 2

I like them, it is nice to have a uniformal lok, however, I think that the 'Sky' part of the logo should have the raised K. And it would be nice to have something quite different to the current format of the Sky Sports/Sky News layout. But good though.

Sky News Thread - Relaunch on Monday

I prefer Sky News to be blue, it is the colour I associate with the channel.
Sky was mostly blue, BBC News is red and ITV News is yellow.

Although, I will hold off judgement until I see what they will actually use come their relaunch.

Sky News Thread - Relaunch on Monday

I thought this was a Sky News thread, not a debate about the rebranding of a BBC channel, there are enough BBC threads already on this site.

Time for Promotion!!!!!!!!

I agree with the original post, I think Juliette Foster is under-used at Sky News. She deserves more slots on air.

Sky World Service

BBC WORLD posted:
I think a distinction could be made between Sky News and Sky World, for example, in a similar way that BBC World is different from News 24.

Sky's international coverage is generally very good though, although as a viewer residing abroad, I find their bulletins quite often too UK-focussed and parochial in that respect.

Yes, that is what I meant, as the current Sky News international feed, offer the same output as the UK one.

Sky World Service

This is just a thought, but do you think Sky News could launch a true internation version of the channel, or do you think news channel output has become too saturated?

I would quite like to see a World version of Sky News, with programmes put together from around the world. Programmes on Asian news, American news, Africa and so forth.

Do you think it would help to boost Sky News' profile globally and would it be more interesting for international viewers?

Which News Channel Pres needs most work?

It did look better, and also had more potential as a credible news channel, if not a little boring.
