Looks a bit sketchy, but from what I've seen national forecasts will zoom in to smaller areas like they do in other countries, eg Spain, where separate parts of the country are looked at individually.

Basically, you have one side as a triangle, pointing in the direction of the auction, and the other half is a semi-circle... at the moment, the logo looks very angular!
You could also give biddy a slight personality... the presenters could talk about him/her a bit like Richard O'Brian talks about 'mumsy' in the Crystal Maze. Or have I totally lost it?!

EDIT: Though just checked BBC World's schedule, and The World wasn't scheduled to be on today. Or tomorrow. And it wasn't on yesterday. Strange - a schedule change perhaps?
