We didn't get Graham Norton leakage in Scotland did we? I don't remember it at any rate.


No we certainly didn't. I taped it, and was horrified before watching the episode to hear what had happened. All way through watching it, I was looking out for it, but nothing Very Happy Excellent start to the series!

"BBC WORLD"

What on earth has happened to BBC World's style of presentation. I've been watching the last couple of days now, and within the main hourly news bullitin, there is at least THREE breaks, which feature ads and the breakfiller. Talk about annoying!!! I think the channel is becoming a 'News 24' in the way it is presenting. Me no likey!!!

New look Reporting Scotland

Well the studio looks really nice, but I think the direction is awful. Considering the don't use the full opening titles anymore, it's simply the Reporting Scotland sting, you saw David Robertson walking across the studio to his 'position'. I also think the presenters look quite uncomfortable standing there. AND no new music or graphics change.

Glasgow blast

I'm just home from Glasgow, and heard it on the radio as I was travelling in the bus. A lot of people were talking about it, and emergency services were all over the city, clearly rushing to the scene. Quite a major incident.

New Look BBC National News

It's quite exciting aint it. I dare say a lot of people outwith this forum have no idea about it, and yeah, may not give a damn, but still, nice to see a change after approximately 5 years of the same music and titles. Let's hope it will look good!

Not sure if this has been posted, but on David Lowe's website, it's quoted:

"BBC 1 News Mix
BBC News viewers in the UK will hear a new mix of the music from next week. I'll be interested to hear what you think.... "

So does this mean a brand new set of idents as well as music?? Can anyone confirm anything as yet??

He was presenting Breakfast this morning. I feel sorry for him. He must be REALLY tired. But still...it's great to see Bill and Sian doing the six. They make a great team!
