BBC News online, only have the top bar link leading to a page, nothing on the front page WITH BREAKING NEWS like they do sometimes.

Sky has it have Breaking news at 11.20 on the website...although only small...icon after the main story.

CNN has it on their home page as a link.

Well I've seen some nice titles that start with the very old BBC News newsreel type titles and morph into the new ones with the 50 logo ... goes from b/w to colour.

I think those titles are great.... they should be the ones for the 1.6.10 no question!!! Very Happy

I suppose it depends on when the photo was taken as to why Bill wasn't on it. As Bill sometimes does a Breakfast slot followed by a 6pm slot, he may have been too tired.

According to the Radio Times, the image was taken right afte Anna did the One.

Glasgow blast

One thing that no one has mentioned and that is how did the BBC News @ 6 and Ten cover it?

Did Viewers in scotland get an extended addition of 'Reporting Scotland' either at the beginning or the end?

The ugly black brick is back! They must be having serious problems with the silver ones or something. I thought they were mainly for show, though! What does the presenter use them for?

Isn't that for ENPS or whatever system they use Razz so they can see any changes in running order, scripts etc.?

Razz Razz Razz Twisted Evil

LOL .. The last one was funny!!

it's used for ENPS (Electronic News Production System) made by the organisation Associated Press.

I don't know why everybody thinks they use it for Solitaire or games.

Im sure the [computer] network does not have games on the system. Might be wrong, I can't remember.

But it's used for script checking, late running order changes, BREAKING NEWS FLASHES.

They could read it of screen or print it, and pick it up from the printer just by the side of them.
