Help with some Uni work?

dvboy posted:
Sounds like a Lincoln Uni student to me. On their Journalism course they do an assignment which involves searching for as much information about a famous or well-known person as possible including their home address, phone numbers, names of their family, without them finding out (if they do they lose marks).

Help with some Uni work?

Hi all, i know this seems a really stupid question, and i'm sorry Asa for putting it in here, was'nt sure where to put it.

I'm a journalism student investigating a high profile media persona, that person has won awards in the past including an RTS award, but was prior to 1998.

Does anyone know of any books which would feature this information, i need concrete info?

I'm sorry i'm not able to 'name' the person, but this is because if the person found out, he might not like it.

Thanks if you can help, just names of some books or something... what you know, that way I can look in library.

Thanks.

One O'Clock News could be replaced by News 24 simulcast

Well in my scenario Katherine, Local news would still exist getting, a good 13 minutes if not more. Just broken into two. Main stories, then the lighthearted section.

Unfortunatly it would all be serious - as much as it could be, and paul would be relished to a CSO screen just of the main set.

One O'Clock News could be replaced by News 24 simulcast

Well it would be fun if we could do it.

Re: T.W.A.T (O) - no need to be rude....

I think it would be a great diverse program, featuring a cross pool of news. Which is important!

One O'Clock News could be replaced by News 24 simulcast

Well after looking at the Weather Man's mocks for The World at One - I think we should abandon the current format and do something like that.

O.K it would be a lot of money, but something a bit different as well.

I also think it should be duel presented from London and America in fact lets throw in Australia as well. Twisted Evil

It should be sixty minutes long, but a little different.

Arrow Regional Anouncement should be:
"This is BBC One with the latest News, Sport, Weather and Business, from our Reporters and correspondents accross, Yorkshire, Britain and around the World. It's One O'Clock"

Arrow BOOM : Headline Sequence comes in, with mixed vision of VT's and of Presenter. With the Same colour scheme accross all of the sets and the regions - well nearly similar.

I'd suggest the headline sequence would be:

2 Main stories followed by 2 UK National stories presented from London by ford, then of to the regions for 3 regional stories, then two stories from from the States area presented by Jordan (not the model unfortatly) and then off to erm, JaneHill in Sydney for the Asia-pacific headlines.

Then off to a 15 second title sequence played out from the regions, which will say something along the lines of "The World at One Presented by, Anna Ford, (Local presenter), JORDAN and Jane Hill" and features a mixture of local landmarks, worldwide landmarks.

Then off to Anna in London. Where we spend a good 15 minutes, then we go to part one of local news so we go to the regions for 7 minutes long. Then to the stock markets for two minute reports. Then we go to America for ten minutes of news surrounding that side of the pond. Then we re-join London for a recap of all the main headlines by Ford. Then off to Jane Hill for the latest news happening in the southern hemisthere. Then Jane introduces part two of the Local news for five minutes. The regions then introduce a second business update of two minutes. The Business unit then introduces the weather. The national weather team, then introduce the local weather team, then Back to Ford where she's joined for the latest sport by someone from the sports team. A one minute recap of all the regional stories then a two miunute National recap.

Then Neighbours.

I think i've got way to much free time on my hands.

Blair's Announcements

Actually it's not an exclusive.

ITV News also had an interview with Mr Blair, with one of their political correspondants - cannot remember name but he's got glasses.

Also mentioned the same points as the BBC interview would have (i've not seen the BBC one)
