TOTP BBC Logo

Hey,

On the opening of Top of the pops, you see the BBC logo animate onto the screen and is like a redish sort of colour and then animate off... I just wondered after reading the BBC Guidelines how they get away with that?

The Rules as you can see, it states that the BBC logo must be:

"Be static and either cut or mix on and off"
"Be white or black only"

Surely it breaks both those rules? So how does it get away with it?

Not yet but I heard today that it's been given 90 days to find a buyer or close. So I guess it has 3 months left - It could close end of January 2005.

So you could say if there's no buyer. Then it could go tits up which on M&M, it could be a normal thing!
