Not sure if I agree with that, I can't imagine keen listeners of Mistajam being too happy about their regular music line-up interrupted by Joy Division and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.

Where did A British Telly Treat go?

I think that user got suspended on a previous account half a year ago, so I assume someone must have rapped them on the knuckles again.

A shame really, I always enjoyed watching those Hancock-era Room 101 episodes that are rather difficult to get hold of, since no-one seem's to repeat them anymore.

Thanks for the feedback (and also for pointing out that colour problem, which thanks to me being forgetful I totally missed) .


It's something that has being going on in my head for a number of years, particularly in the form of becoming the dominant force in ITV instead of Carlton, but with the situation becoming complex to the point of decreasing the likelihood of both companies becoming one.

Although thats for another day....

Having spent a good few hours of my day watching a shed load of 80's Central presentation on YouTube, and since it had been on my mind since god knows when, I decided to set to work on a series of reconstructions of Central's early cake-era idents, starting (and possibly ending) with these two.

They've even added in that 2 teapot that was used for a week or so during BBC2's english season in 1991.
