Lots of pictures and a commentary of the Aussie show on this page here.
But be warned! The French version which they were playing to auditionees has a very different feel to it, and apparently that is the route they're trying to go down.
Glenn Hugill from The Mole is producing, apparently.

Apparently he show is going to be based along the lines of the French/Italian version where they have the same people for many days so more of them get a shot at the money.
I'm guessing the quiz element (which in every version I've seen, has never actually been worthwhile) is getting dropped. But I don't know.
The odds on someone taking away £250k are minutely slim really - you need the luck to pick the correct suitcase, but then you need the guts to see it through to the end and not bail out on a decent bank offer. It will almost certainly be giving away more than any other daily show has before though depending on how they skew the values. Again, I would guess (and it's just a guess) at a £250k case, £100k, £75k, £50k, £25k, £10k, £5k and 20 cases all the way down to 50p - along vaguely similar lines to the Aussie daily show.

I'm confused- is only one case (or cash offer) won per show? Obviously they're not going to give away £250k per day!
Is the quiz in two parts or is the whole game about picking and opening the cases?

No I have no idea how this is going to work either, I expect some bonus celebrity partners will get involved (although Play Your Cards Right was originally played with single contestants so you know).
Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon
Somehow they're going to get Carol vs Patsy playing Play Your Cards Right, with Bill versus Vernon playing Bullseye. No I have no idea how this is going to work either, I expect some bonus celebrity partners will get involved (although Play Your Cards Right was originally played with single contestants so you know).

Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon
Yes, only the Golden Shot one was planned as being live. Just like the original, in fact.

Deal or No Deal
Someone who has been to audition has revealed the top prize is now £250,000, and it's going to be more lighthearted like the French and Italian versions. The same contestants will be used for several recordings to givem more of a chance of winning the money.

It'll be a relief when it's all over this time around.
I have enjoyed it this year, but I do agree with this sentiment.
I don't think commercial channel C4 are going to axe any programme that still consistantly pulls in 4 million viewers a night, if we're being honest.
On the basis that odd numbered series seem to be the best ones (as they just tend to coast on even numbered years), Big Brother 7 should be absolutely amazing.

Yes, because otherwise there would have been three Pauls in the house that year (Josh is also a Paul).

Quite a good little show really, but never had a chance always being in Toothbrush's shadow.
The Big Call
Originally, there were tickets planted in the audience matching winning numbers from a foreign lottery. After two weeks, this changed so that everyone had a UK ticket, and that everybody who had won at least the three ball prize was given the option of keeping the money or tearing up the ticket for the chance to win the Last Chance Lottery jackpot.Quite a good little show really, but never had a chance always being in Toothbrush's shadow.

It was mentioned in the pre show interviews that this idea has been bought in so the other housemates don't know if they've actually left the house or not, Bedsit style. They also said that blinds would be put up around the living area, but this doesn't seem to have materialised.

Most importantly though it's the eviction itself. This year the HMs remain in the lounge while the evictee must walk through the garden then through the kitchen-diner to reach the door, all in 30 seconds. Most of the countdown can't be heard, and the HMs can't give them a proper good bye. Let the HMs back to near the main door, and give the evictee the full minute countdown.
