National Lottery Winning Lines

Is it me or has this series of Winning Lines been very short. And to be replaced next week by Ian Wright who is nothing compared to Schofield. Why do the BBC insist on putting Ian Wright on lottery programmes, its not as if he is a good presenter. Personally Winning Lines, Jet Set, and In It To Win It are the three lottery programmes that should be spread over the year, not "The National Lottery: Ian Wright Gets Poor Ratings" show.

Anyone else feel the same?

Michael Fish

he could advertise Fish Fingers under his own brand. If he grew a beard he could be the captain birdseye for the 21st century.

Michael Fish

Michael Fish will hang up his clicker after the ten o clock news on Wednesday 6th October. So what sort of tributes/recognition do you think that the BBC should give him after 32 years loyal service to BBC Weather, If any. Thoughts and Suggestions welcome.

Are BBC 1 News Presenters Credible?

Maybe the whole make news presenters seem more human idea is an idea for a ratings boost for BBC News, if the viewing public like what they see on Strictly Come Dancing, or Children In Need etc, then maybe they would want to watch more of the presenters when they present the news. Also programmes such as those raise the profile of the stars which participate whether they are news or not.

So far the conversation has been about BBC News, but what if Mark Austin, Mary Nightingale, or Trevor McDonald donned sparkly outfits and danced the night away on national television. Would you think any less of them regardless of whether it was for charity or not.

TV Forum Mini-Comp: BBC One Christmas Idents

A small effort, its mainly the concept not the quality of the image that should be commented upon.

Opening Shot

Close up of the flag mast with a spinning globe on the top, similar to the crystal globe in New York on New Years eve that moves down the mast.

The camera pulls out to the full view of ice skaters galore.

Im not sure about the music, but it would be similar to last years only with a bit more sparkle, and sleigh bells etc.

Blue Peter Comp!

So if there are three age groups, does that mean there will be three different Idents, or will it just be one overall winner.

Wierd six opening

Well it's Natasha Kaplinsky on the Six. I've been away for a while - is this the first time on the bulletin for her or has she been on in the summer at som point?

Nope, its been Sian on every Six bulletin since Sophie Raworth went on maternity leave. So she does deserve this day off.............im sure she has certainly built up a lot of holiday time since she took over from Sophie.....and soon enough when Sophie returns to the 6 and Sian returns to Breakfast she will have enough opportunity to take some time off.

Sian to take a day off - shock

I noticed she couldnt stop smiling when she was in vision........perhaps george was making amusing gestures to her from behind the charachters.......or maybe it was just the excitement and thrill of doing the 6. I dont know about her but im looking forward to her 6 debut.

Get Phillip Schofield to re-create his blooper for 2004. Presses the wrong button and what pops up, Acrobats......thats worth a laugh in itself

But CiTV can't do it for their 25th with the originals because
A.It did'nt happen with CiTV
B.There was four presenters and they could'nt all press a button
Quite obvious though!

Huh......where did i mention CiTV, and seeing as this was a CBBC thread I thought most people knew the blooper I meant seeing as it has been so well documented

Wierd six opening

I wouldnt have thought it was because of the Iraq explosion because we've had plenty of explosions in Iraq, we've had the Beslan Seige where explosives were used, not to mention the Jakarta bomb last week. Still intruiged as to why they only used the sting.

Sian to take a day off - shock

Seems like the 6 titles had a day off as the programme began with the sting used just before the 6.55 update. Mistake or Intentional, you decide!
