The X Factor 2014:
Slight improvement on the titles tonight. It was basically a slightly extended break sting, but it's better than nothing.

I reckon the full titles are a thing of the past for The X Factor. Seems to be the fashion for Syco shows at the moment.

A shorter version of the titles were also used on tonight's The Xtra Factor on ITV2. They seem to have introduced the pink and light blue colour scheme from the American version to the set and graphics on the TV screens - but not on the titles or on screen graphics. I wonder if we'll see a new title sequence for the live shows as in previous years?
