BBC News Channel Presentation - 21/03/16 onwards

It appears that the NC is now airing an extra edition of The Film Review to fill time after coverage of the Pope arriving in the Phoenix Park, while on WN they are airing an additional 15 minute bulletin presented by Samantha Simmonds.

Going a bit off topic here... There has been a lot of abrupt programming interruptions during these two days on WN due to coverage of the Pope in Ireland. There are a lot of instances where they just cut right into a middle of an interview or the NC's feed without the presenters and reporters acknowledging the viewers who just joined them.

It seems like Clive Myrie is going to present tonight's evening shift given the fact he has just presented BBC News at Five. There's a probability like he's likely to present tonight's News at Ten as well. Is the BBC really that in short of presenters during the summer?

Junction of the Victoria Derbyshire simulcast leading up to 10AM TOTH. It seems like WN is still in C but relaying B's output as the lower-thirds and graphics are not in sync with the NC.

Today's edition of HARDtalk is recorded in Studio 34D (BBC Arabic/Persian News Studio). It's soooooo painful to watch it in full native HD because apparently the gallery of Studio 34D does not have HD equipment. Look at that 576i quality!

Does anyone have the bottom of the hour sting of the current (2013) BBC News Package? I tried to mix it by myself but kept failing. I know I have to contribute something... so here's all I've got, including the Quarter Past and to the Hour Sting and a failed mix of the BOTH Sting. I hope that's enough for me to make my request reasonable.

BBC World News | 30th October 2017 Onwards

Beyond 100 Days will take a 3 week break after today's last edition. Starting next Monday, WN will have an edition of World News Today at 1900 BST while NC will have a generic bulletin.

Does anyone know if the programme will have another name change again when it returns? Perhaps the programme can be renamed to something like "Christian and Katty". (Sounds like MSNBC eh?)

Resignations from Government (Presentation discussion)

No Outside Source on BBC World News - it's replaced with a simulcast of the 8PM bulletin on NC, with Christian Fraser presenting live from Westminster. It seems that WN will simulcast with NC for the rest of the night, except for the 10PM national bulletin.

NC's Five now simulcasting its first portion of the programme with WN's Global. The lower-thirds are not in sync.

NC now simulcasting with WN for continuing coverage of the 4 child going out safely in the Thai cave rescue operation. At around 15:41 NC cut to Studio C feed abruptly (?). At 16:00 NC and WN are in Studio E with Lukwesa Burak.
