A couple of more points, I’m not sure if they were picked up earlier in the thread. I have just skim read most of the thread, though I see a printing issue seemed to be a big deal Smile

Days before the Grand Final Christer Bjorkman was hospitalised with a blood clot. He had surgery a few days after the final and is now recovering.

Someone online did an analysis of how the interval has expanded since 1999 (the first contest with advertising windows). I’ve shared it on Twitter. Although the interval was generally around 30 minutes in length for around 10 years it has doubled in length since 2014. Even last year, when there was nothing worthwhile in the interval it lasted 45 minutes!

Steph's Packed Lunch

benjy posted:
I have to say, working from home as many of us are, I find myself turning on the telly while I have my lunch. This show is definitely the most appealing to me out of the options in this time slot! It’s not bad.

I’m guessing that’s the kind of audience they are hoping to be able to grow - the new WFH audience, rather than those who would be at home anyway and already have their established routines.

Have people noticed any improvement in this show? Just caught a bit for the first time in months and Katie Price was speaking for what felt like a good 10 minutes with the caption 'Living with 2 Broken Feet'.

Any time I switch it on it feels like you are eavesdropping on a private party, full on in-jokes, and you're not invited.

Just because it's accepted doesn't mean it's the best system.
