CNN International & Domestic

I switched over to The Situation Room at some stage only to find that yet again, Don Lemon was on as a guest promoting his book. Wolf helpfully held up a physical copy on a regular basis so that we could be reminded of what it looks like. It's all very vulgar.
Given that Don earns a good living through his show and that he published the book (in record time!) to draw attention to race relations, I'm hoping a solid share of the profits from the sales go to help BLM and other related charities. Otherwise, he's just in it for personal gain.

10Mbs of reliable upstream connectivity will get you reasonable results with a decent encoder and some protection using Zixxi, SRT or similar. You have a slight trade off between latency and quality.

It's not technically 'broadcast quality' - but for talking heads without a huge amount of motion that's not bad. Most modern broadband connections will support that. I get around 18Mbs upstream/68Mbs downstream on my regular VDSL connection in London.

I'm in London and the average speed is about 70Mbs but a lot of people go for packages that offer up to 1000Mbs so I'm sure that Hala and her husband would have the best.
On another note, it was interesting to learn that she does not have a teleprompter - just notes on an iPad on the table. I would never have guessed! Her anchoring is still fluid, no ums or ahs, no confusion. True pro!

You're talking download speeds there. With VDSL upload (which is the important parameter here) it maxes out at 19 Mb/s

I also get 70/19 but I'm 100 metres from the VDSL cabinet, if you live further away, regardless of location, you'll get less for both. Our last house was 1km from the cabinet, 40/7 there.

FTTP etc services allow higher speeds, and distance from the cabinet etc is irrelevant but you can pay silly money for anything above about 150 downstream, and I don't think the upstream is terribly generous still on most packages?

Hyperoptic! Upload is same speed as download. I pay for the 150 package and it averages about 170 up/down. Didn't seem worth it to pay for the 1000Mbs. I don't do enough to warrant the 150 in the first place! £28 pm.
