New studio for Germany's Tagesschau news

I am really impressed!

We can expect some more important changes for the late edition "Tagesthemen" which will air at 23:15 today.

International News Presentation: Past and Present

Following nearly 2 years trying to solve technical issues the main German public TV (Das Erste) will move their newscasts (Tagesschau, Tagesthemen and Nachtmagazin) to a brand new studio including a 18 meter curved backdrop videowall on Saturday. Presenters will be able to walk around and present their stories using the images on the wall. Graphics and even the legendary title music will get an overhaul. First edition is the 8 o'clock Tagesschau on Saturday.
