I've seen a few programmes on the BBC3 strand since it started on BBC1 in March, and I've definitely not seen a DOG at any point - and that is in England.

I believe for England, SD doesn’t have the DOG while HD does, while the other nations do what they want with it

New BBC corporate font: BBC Reith

Seeing as people are talking about whether or not The Nine's design could or couldn't work on the NC (and elsewhere), I might as well link a few videos I've been working on for The Gallery, so you can get a sense of what it would like like if they did adopt a similar style...







I think the main problem you'd have with using The Nine style graphics, which has been pointed out, is the having no background... apart from the shadow so that the text doesn't clash on light backgrounds (I purposely made the shadow darker).
