Why do they always knock out the same names?

Richard E Grant was DEFINITELY going to be the doctor the first time around. He was even tipped to be the doctor in something else just after the comic relief special a few years ago.

Alan Davies has been mentioned before also. How can you follow Chris Eccleston with him!?

And that David Tennant looks camp! Something I thought Doctor Who was moving away from

Have you been in a TV audience?

I went to see 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' while in Los Angeles at CBS Television City. All i remember was the building was extremely run down and in need of refurbishment. Even the posters for the shows that were being taped there hadn't been updated in years. Presumably when James Corden took over the show, that refurbishment happened. Watching the show was a great experience, though i was surprised just how little we could hear in the studio audience.

A look around an abandoned ITV Regional Building

Hi all Smile

I hope you find this as interesting as I did.

We were doing some work in the old ITV Channel TV building at La Pouquelaye in Jersey, and was surprised just how much of it was still intact, considering it has been abandoned for some time. Other companies have since moved into other parts of the building (including the main studio, the pictures included of the main studio are older than the others. It is now pretty much empty except for some VR equipment)

Even after a year of them moving to their new premises, the old building still looks pretty much like this. Thought you guys might be interested in a '28 days Later' style snooping around slideshow.

A goodbye from one of the old staff presumably Sad

Surprised how in tact all of it still was. The building was built in 1988 so a lot of the cabling and infrastructure was still old, but with a lot of newer kit in places. Seeing as though the new Castle Quay building is probably built for HD, i imagine a lot of the stuff here isn't useful to anyone anymore, but i'm surprised they have just left it there still mostly in tact.
