Would it be hard for BBC One to create a One Show version of a live daytime show and air it at lunchtime instead of Bargain Hunt?

Why would they get rid of Bargain Hunt when it rates well and is very cheap to make.

I never said they should get rid of Bargain Hunt, keep it and move it to 2.15pm, and free up 12.15 to have an alternative to This Morning and Loose Women over on ITV, in the same way they offered Daytime Live, Pebble Mill and Open Air as an alternative to the ITV schedules back in the late 80s and 90s.

A clone of 'This Morning' is much less an alternative than 'Bargain Hunt'. By this logic how hard can it be for ITV to create an early evening version of 'This Morning' as an alternative to the 'one show'?

Piers Morgan to leave GMB

If it means that people can lose work for saying the wrong thing, then it clearly does exist. Look at Danny Baker and Alistair Stewart, they both lost their main jobs for tweeting stupid things, I think out of ignorance rather than maliciously. Whether you agree they should have been sacked or not, they were ‘cancelled’ from their jobs.

If you bring your employer into disrepute, whether intentionally or not, there are going to be consequences. That is not cancel culture and it's not new. People just don't want to be held accountable for their actions so they scream about being cancelled.

BBC Breakfast - 16th July onwards

I'm sure Stephs a nice person but I was never a fan. I much preferred the more subtle personalities of Declan Curry and Simon Jack who came before her. Come to think of it, I'm not really a fan of anyone on Breakfast these days apart from Charlie Stayt - I find them all far too egositical. Much rather watch Piers and Susanna on the other side.
