I think all the games should be shown on terrestrial tv but I can see this being another excuse for the Soap Lovers to complain about their precious soaps being moved.
Glad to see England out its about time the Media and the press had a wake up call and realised how crap England are at the moment.
I also wonder what it means for Gary Lineker and co. I'm sure Euro 2008 was the sweetener to keep them at the BBC despite the loss of the England and FA Cup games - but now with no English or any British interest, if someone else wanted Mr Lineker (though frankly, who would?), I think he'd be likely to switch sooner rather than later.
I would be very suprised if Lineker was poached by ITV Steve rider wouldn't be happy he left the beeb because Lineker was paid more than him and you know ITV would pay him more money probably more than Rider.
