Indeed Sky's presentation/graphics may be criticised on here but their advantage is that 99% of the time I can tune in and there'll be live news and they're ready to roll on a story if it breaks. Whereas BBC/CNNI are not flexible enough with their schedule - if it's not the "right time" you're left waiting for an update.

If Hala was WFH, it makes you wonder why they couldn’t have just had the Amanpour/Hala/Quest line up air during the pandemic at the same times they normally would. I like Brianna Keilar but her hour of CNN Domestic Newsroom doesn’t feel so essential that it needed to boot Hala off air for months and having Hala’s show air would’ve made the schedule feel less lopsided between Domestic and International the way it has.

Larry King has died

Yikes that Piers Morgan tribute is one of the worst, most tacky tributes I’ve seen. You’re not surprised reading that that Morgan was friends with Trump - as Piers makes it all about himself.

Then again given who it’s by I shouldn’t be surprised.
