In that far left hand corner, are very thick curtains that block out the sunlight from the real world. It's the corner of the building that faces East/South



The curtains are all the way round.. there’s no daylight at all

sports inserts for breakfast are done from the sports centre on the ground floor

It's the second floor, there's 2 DTL positions. One in the pres studio where regional breakfast bulletins come from, the newsreader for Marr on Sunday also uses this. Theres also one at the end of the newsroom. Dan does his weekend football focus chat from this newsroom camera, Politics England also did inserts from there.
They are both live backgrounds.
