Well, whoever IS in the business, tell the Boss that GMB needs a re-think
To be fair the boss of GMB probably knows, but he's got other ITV execs telling him all the time to take the show in certain directions to maximise their advertising.
Except I'm not aware of any such obvious connection between the Daily (Sieg) Heil and GMB?
What about the Mail's, and particularly Mugabe's, burning hatred of 'the other side'? Though the real reason Mail Online probably covered it is they cover any old sh*te regardless of its news value or accuracy.
It's a real shame. Occasionally, I feel there's a hope for this programme. Then a cheap stunt like this happens.
I do believe, if we TV Forumeners were in charge of ITV Breakfast, we'd come up with a programme that the public would be happy with.
The TVF version of GMB:
"Here's in-depth analysis of the ident we've just played, and at 8:15, we'll be telling you Charlotte's rota for the next three weeks, including EXCLUSIVE details of why she won't be turning up a week next Tuesday."
"Also ahead... we launch our new graphics package designed on Power Point by a 12 year old. And you can get involved in our competition and win £10,000 by answering this simple question...
Which GMB theme will we be using after the break?
A) 2014 theme
B) 2015 theme
C) Entertainment Theme
D) Any of the others that have been composed at a price and used to take to the authoritive tone away from GMB

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are back on GMB tomorrow.
This week the format has changed slightly each day. Today for example at 7:15 they had a headline update rather than 7:45. Also at 7:20 there was a slot about the A&E overflow then after they zoomed through the news at 7:30 they had an entertainment slot at 7:33. Quite unusual mixing the format up. And it's worth noting how they've restarted using the 2014 original 'newsy' coming up bed.

Could they be having a relaunch in April? They might be off air next month for Easter on the Good Friday and Easter Monday?
