They would be mad not to do it tonight. The biggest show they will probably broadcast all year apart from Celebrity Big Brother and that is when they should have planned to launch the new look, like they have done previously prior to premières of other big shows.

Would make sense to launch a new look on their anniversary to celebrate.

On their milestone 19th anniversary?

Wouldn't be the most baffling idea that Channel 5 have ever done!

They didn't do anything special for their 10th so it'd be nice to see something for their 20th next year.

Speaking of which, found the thread from the time when C5 turned 10 years old, and it's funny how much of the complaints were about it not being the same as when it launched - which is what a lot of the posts have been about here recently too. They've never lived up to those first few years have they?

Surely it must be imminent if they've sent logos out to Virgin/BT (and presumably other providers)?

If not tonight perhaps it'll be inline with BBC Three going off the air.

IIRC they had a few special programmes. Nothing ITV50-grade but they did reference it, including the one-off panel show I Blame The Spice Girls.

I believe you're questioning information from an insider who would absolutely know.
