Piers Morgan is on holiday for the next two weeks. He'll be back on Monday 22nd February.
Interesting to see who cover will be for that, Ben, Sean or Kate probably...?
Ben seems steadfast in presenting GMB only at the end of the week, so it seems very unlikely he'll be Piers' cover. There's no way they'll have Sean in a position which will involve him being on screen for more than a few minutes, so they'll either not use him at all, or use him as the newsreader if Kate/Charlotte take over Piers' role. I'd say a Kate & Susanna pairing is most likely.
I reckon it will be something like this:
Monday-Wednesday: Kate, Susanna & Charlotte.
Thursday: Ben, Susanna & Sean.
Friday: Ben, Kate & Ranvir.
I still think Sean has a better chance of being newsreader than Louisa though.
I hope that it is Kate standing in for Piers. I don't know what everyone else thinks but I quite like her and they all seem to get on well with her so I don't see an issue there.
I think at the moment there's more chance of Louisa James being newsreader than Sean
Very true. I don't know why they never have Sean do anything, they could even have him sat at the desk doing nothing. At least it would make it more balanced. Whilst I see the program (full 7.00 hour) I don't seem him once. They should bring back the sport bulletin in my opinion but I doubt they will. ITV Breakfast have a theme of hiring a sports presenter then forgetting about the sport section of the show *cough* Dan Lobb *cough*.
It'll almost certainly be Kate covering for Piers.
Would make much more sense to have Charlotte, Susanna and Sean considering Sean will be in the building anyway for the 30 second sports bulletin.
It is a surprise that Sean hasn't threatened To leave GMB. I doubt it was his choice to decrease his role and he didn't have bad chemistry with the other presenters.
It'll almost certainly be Kate covering for Piers.
I'm not quite sure I'm over my Garraway fatigue from the interim period between Ben's reduction and Piers' introduction. I much prefer Kate in the newsreader role over main anchor.
Just a reminder that you don't know what role Sean has behind the scenes. As his onscreen role decreased his behind-the-scenes role may have increased - notably in how much he produces the sports bulletin. I very much doubt they're still paying him a fairly hefty salary to work 30 seconds a day.
