Thought it worth a mention that last night's episode didn't feature a title sequence, instead the episode name appeared at the start of the credits. It was presumably done to fit in with the storyline of this particular episode, though I think it's the first time this has happened.
You did notice 'Doctor Who' highlighted in the code sequence a few minutes into the episode - the substitute for the titles?
I an't help but think the episode would have looked a lot better if it had been genuinely shot with small cameras- CCTV cameras, camcorders, GoPros etc. The whole thing looked too polished for supposedly found footage! I know it was meant to be 1500-odd years in the future with much morre advanced technology, but still!

That wouldn't make sense within the context of the episode.
The Apprentice
made some use of an incidental track from
Doctor Who
in the latest episode (specifically, if anyone cares, a track called
The Pandorica
from
The Pandorica Opens
). I don't generally watch it, so this might not be that unusual.
The only other time I've heard music from Doctor Who used in another series was some god-awful kids thing Rufus Hound (apparently a big Doctor Who fan, though he famously forgot Peter Davison's name) did on CBBC, which used Doctor Who soundtrack tracks throughout (and without any thought to whether it fit the scene), as I recall.
The Apprentice uses all kinds of weird and wonderful music outside of its main Montagues and Capulets theme. I heard the excellent piano music from the original game of The Sims in an episode, I think it was last year.
Also confirmed no series will air this year - just the Christmas special, which should feel more special having not had 12 episodes running up to it. They've rather sensibly held it back for Spring 2017 - makes much more sense than squeezing it in alongside Strictly, especially as they're losing The Voice next year.
