RT UK HD is now on Freeview LCN 113. The audio levels are low though in comparison to LCN 135.

Very interesting story. I will say some of his experiences with the security and the reception at both locations makes ITV look unprofessional even if security was contracted out.

Edit : Scratch that got The London Studios confused with Milbank Tower. I assumed since Milbank Studios are owned by ITV the tower the security guard was referring to was the tower where ITV was located.

ITV, BBC and Sky each have facilities in 4 Millbank. I think that's somewhere different to Millbank Tower.

Less than a half a mile away.

Yes. If you were a guest booked by a TV station to go to "Millbank" you'd expect to be going to No. 4 Millbank, where the BBC, ITN and Sky operations are based. If you clarified with "Millbank Studios" then you definitely meant No.4 Millbank. I think there may be a bookable down-the-line studio there too, which is used by other broadcasters.

Millbank Tower, which at one point housed the HQ of the Labour Party, is a different, much bigger building.

Sounds like the RT guest booker was a bit of an amateur. Who knows if they were even based in London... They could have been booking for a Moscow-based show as a down-the-line, and not realised Millbank isn't a building, but a long road on the riverside.

And the booker didn't have much of a conversation with him to clarify---let alone get his name right for security.

Not really as it's on-brand being a topical comedy discussion show.

Argentina is to remove RT Spanish from FTA television to allow other services on. However RT throws the toys out of the pram, despite the channel being allowed to continue broadcasting from behind a paywall.
