That bad hey. Does it contain any actual football?
I do love your optimism.
I assume it has been scaled down/modified AGAIN because they can't maintain the resource/have already lost interest in the project/can't afford to keep it going at the original scale. Any/all work. Why bother? In with both feed, carefully remove limbs toe by toe.

They basically took the oomph out of the Monday edition, no audience and no co-host, but they kept the panel and studio guests. Cundy also played it straight.
I suspect the 'old' format will return on Friday only with Jimmy Bullard and new co-host Alex Scott, while Cundy plays it straight on a Monday.
This leaves a half a**ed production on a Monday and the full monty at the weekend.
Personally with the departure of Kiri Bloore at Christmas and Jimmy Bullard reducing his appearances to once a week, I can't see the show being recommissioned after the season ends, which will leave them again with more tick box London Live News .

What a schizo, three-legged, one-eyed beast that feels like now. A very odd decision. And I agree with you. I totally expect them to kill it at the end of the season. Grice work once again London Live. Just admit you're not up to the job. You're not waving, you're drowning.
Stumbled across this earlier - it shows London Live in 'test mode' prior to launch, using the big screen in the main studio for travel and weather - something they subsequently abandoned in favour of the hub during those first painful months of 2014.
That case study also shows a more traditional format to the weather bulletin (albeit without a map), with reference to Met Office weather warnings rather than 'it's warm' - from the images it looks like the travel bulletins may have also been destined for a similar treatment, rather than the 'let me spin my wheel, #goodservice' updates we actually got in the first few months. There's even stuff about a market update which I think will have very rarely been used on air, if at all!

The markets featured during 'The Evening News' era. Anthony Baxter couldn't quite grasp delivering it. They also had a 60 second City round-up during Breakfast which was pre-rec.
Desmond's doin' da business for London Live. W/e 10 Jan 8 of the top 10 shows were the 80's sitcom (with Misfits and The Adam & Joe Show taking 5th and 7th slots respectively. The 8.30 episode is the stronger of the two.
I may be wrong, but I think this is the first time the Top 10 has comprised all primetime shows. The numbers are still not brilliant ranging from 65k down to 23k, and of course there's nothing original.
