Thanks for the compliments on the mock studio I did but please don't get your hopes up - you'll only be disappointed and wanting News at Ten to be axed all over again when it turns out the 'new titles' are merely tweaks to the current ones, and certainly not a return of the 2008 sequence.

I would read nothing into the cover photo on the Facebook page. He is probably waiting until the new-look then he'll change it.

Are you really saying Robert Peston mocked up his own Westminster version of the ITV News titles to use as his Facebook cover photo for a few days? What nonsense.

At what point does Ben suggest anything of the sort?

P.S. Any news on The Agenda - has it been axed now Tom is on the Ten?

Could only find the following tweet from last year. Nothing solid, but I suppose the ratings do suggest The Agenda is popular enough to warrant an eighth series.

Bear in mind Robert Peston will be the political editor for ITV News in general, not just News at Ten, so any new look for the latter will be irrelevant as far as what Robert puts on his facebook/twitter feeds.

I understand what you're saying but News at Ten is the flagship bulletin. Peston is supposed to be the draw in from the BBC. If News at Ten were to have an entirely different look to the rest of ITV News, they'd be sure to flaunt it on their star correspondent's Facebook page.

But the "new look" hasn't launched yet. Some people really are clutching at straws here...

I wouldn't say that News At Ten is ITV's flagship bulletin to be fair. At lot of the reports are repeated from the 6:30 bulletin, and the 6:30 bulletin gets twice as many viewers as News At Ten.

In other news the BBC News at Ten is to get a prominently blue colour scheme when it relaunches tomorrow.

Is there a specific tweet that refrences this?

It is considered by ITN as the flagship bulletin.

We've talked about this before - 'flagship' indicates which bulletin the broadcaster considers its 'main' news bulletin, irrespective of how it fares in the ratings. For the BBC and ITV, the 10pm news programmes are considered the 'flagship' programmes. The fact that the Evening News rates higher than the Ten makes no difference to the situation: the 6 O'Clock News sometimes beats the 10 O'Clock News in the ratings but you wouldn't find anyone from the BBC saying that the Six is its 'flagship'.

Reports from the Evening News haven't been repeated on the Ten since before the October refresh - the reports at 10pm are now more longform, more in-depth than those aired at 6:30pm.

Don't worry, it's meant to be a joke. Not that it isn't prominently blue already, with the lighting in the newsroom.

Does anybody think these small changes will help ITV's flagship bulletin? I don't personally think they will. The addition of Tom Bradby made no overall difference to viewing figures, despite what's claimed by the media.

Figures stayed almost identical, except where News At Ten received a boost in November from 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'. Figures also looked higher because the news was billed at 10, but didn't start until 10:05 because I'm A Celeb finished late.

However, I personally think that ITV/ITN made a good decision in starting Braby on a "soft launch". There has definitely been a marked improvement in my view as Bradby has developed and become more comfortable in the role.
