ITV News

No regional lunchtime bulletin today either (as was the case last year) - yet we had GMB updates and an evening bulletin later...

I find it strange that this year there were no regional bulletins on Christmas Eve as there always has on previous Christmas Eve's in the past. They keep promoting the regional website but not everybody is online.

I do hope ITV get their act together with National and Regional News and remember they still have viewers that want to watch the bulletins.

I know I'm banging on a bit, but there's no STV-only ITV News late bulletin tonight as is usually the case. Instead, we have a 10-minute STV News "Review of the Year" at 11.05pm.

I know I've mentioned it before, but London always finish their weekend regional news (and this week's evening bulletins) ahead of any other area. This is probably to do with the ITV News sharing arrangements. But would it be against Ofcom policy for London to be effectively short changed?

What do they fill with? Extra trailers?

Did anyone else find Juliet Bremner's voice weirdly loud when talking to Alastair Stewart last night? She was shouting her report across the desk to him about the hotel fire in Dubai so much so that they probably could have heard her in Dubai. Is she hearing impaired or had a shot of adrenaline or too much caffeine? It was odd.

Not sure this really warrants a new thread. But for what it's worth, I don't think Juliet Bremner enunciated her words any differently than usual on yesterday's bulletin.
