Yes, they did it on Daybreak IIRC. It was mentioned on an episode of Russell Howard's Good News.

Ross King definitely did it on Daybreak, as Dan Lobb and Helen Fospero were seen in the studio. I have that episode on my hard drive, will try and find it when I get home from work.

The 'kilt thing' was done just over a year ago too when Ben wore it for Lorraine's 30 years on TV.

Also the 8am TOTH was done as the desk format rather than from the sofa.
