The clip on the original post - I definitely remember the cracker one being used on Granada, but I'm not convinced it was an ident. I thought it was just a pre-trailer sting (I could be wrong though).
On the talk of the aborted GMG station revamp, one thing I definitely remember is a Granada version of the dark blue spinning chevron background used on Yorkshire presentation - they went through a very brief period of local trails using this style. No idents though.
