There was some quite obvious picture distortion and flickering before the break with the close-up on Mark Austin at 6:30.

I guess that was bound to happen really - especially on the Evening News where they don't have any rehearsal time and have live bongs. I guess the sound mixer just cued up the wrong one from the selection available on SpotOn.

Jonathan Hill has never presented a Sunday evening national bulletin that I know of.

Apparently they confused Lenny Henry who was awarded a knighthood today, with Ainsley Harriot. Shocked

That's the type of stuff that happens on Fox News!

In a report on tonight's News at Ten, Joel Hills said that North Sea oil started flowing into Britain "50 years ago", even though it started in 1975.
