When it was the car park set it was 'This is the ITV News' with the male V/O

The bongs are always recorded - except for the Evening News due to the tight turnaround from London Tonight. In that case, the last few minutes of London Tonight is typically pre-recorded. Sometimes precoms and postcoms and other sequences are also pre-recorded. In fact, I've also seen the sport bulletin being pre-recorded on LT but you'd never know as a viewer because it fits together seamlessly.

I thought I wouldn't like the programme, however after a week I actually love ITV's new News At Ten. I would agree, Tom including opinions is wrong however moaning at a presenter because they have to breath is incredibly harsh.

I look forward to watching future weeks of ITV News at Ten, instead of the dull BBC News across on One.

The real test will come with a big on location story - that will really expose the strengths and weaknesses of both the new format and Tom himself.

I suspect it will be like an election night situation, sort of a skeleton rundown but abandon it as more information comes in from a senior correspondent on the ground.

When we have big news stories, surely we will see less of Tom?

It used to be one presenter on location and the other in the studio for the rest of the days news, but I imagine this new format will see a correspondent on location instead of a presenter?

Tom has already proved that he's out of his depth, he's awful

Can't we start some sort of online petition to get Mark and Julie back ?! Facebook etc. I am not as media into all the presentation as most on here but I don't think Bradbury will ever cut the mustard !

Maybe putting Bradby on News at Ten is ITV's way of killing it off once and for all? I really see him lasting to be honest
