Great preview and a bit more info than others have given. No pun intended but does Anglia now complete the set?

Indeed they are the last region to launch the new set. From watching the online video is anyone else thinking temp set is actually what was the former second studio at Anglia House?

Do you mean studio or set ? Are you suggesting the set that was in the former second studio has been moved to a temporary studio, or that the current bulletins are coming from the set IN the former second studio?

Studio. It looked there was still blue flooring from its last use.

It does look like the other studio rather than an actual storeroom. Not been in there since they did the work to split the old Studio A in two, bit sad to see the home of Sale of the Century and Trisha turned into two tiny, low ceilinged spaces.

At least the former Studio E is still intact meaning there's still one actual studio space in East Anglia.

It looks like Anglia have got one of the biggest studios still in use in the regions. Still looked quite big even when split into two, and a proper high lighting rig as well.

Considering ITV News Anglia is still a SD only bulletin, I don't think it's wise to do the forecast from a monitor instead of a CSO.

I don't think it's wise whether in HD or SD - there is a reason they've been CSO all these years.

Seems they are encouraged to use the plasma for the weather as this seems to have occurred in many regions. On Calendar Jon Mitchell obviously knows it looks rubbish and only uses it for weather photos on occasion, never the actual forecast.

It can work as GMB shows, but the screen needs to be a certain size where the camera can zoom right in for the monitor to fill the screen.

Fortunately as London is fully CSO, the forecasts are still pre-rec, so we don't get the awful small plasma bulletin on the main. However with such a small screen and in SD on Anglia, it's not an easy forecast to watch.

The angle it's being shot from doesn't help the weather either - Border (and therefore I assume Tyne Tees) use the other plasma and shoot it straight on getting as 'full screen' as possible. Still not as good as the old CSO, but a lot better than Anglia seem to have managed there.
